Alto were employed as a sub-contractor for the construction of the new extension block to the existing Bradford Maternity Unit.

Site had numerous challenges and constraints including a live hospital environment, numerous chartered and unchartered services and challenging logistics.

Works included:

• Construction of foundations
• Construction of surface and foul water drainage
• New ground floor, reinforced concrete slab
• Construction of RC retaining walls and to accommodate level changes for access ramps and staircase
• Works to the existing highway
• Construction of all external works, paving and landscaping.
