Blackpool Ambulance Hub is a state-of-the-art facility with a low carbon design, in line with the UK government’s net zero strategy.
The project involved the construction of a new, three-storey ambulance station hub, with rapid refuelling and external ambulance parking and carparks.
Works comprised of:
- Construction of all pile caps, beams, foundations, and lift pits along with waterproofing solutions
- Construction of suspended ground floor slab
- Construction of adoptable surface water and foul water drainage connections
- Construction of sub station
- Constriction of external compound areas and RC slab for rapid feruling of ambulances
- Section 278 works to new entrances
- Installation of all Surface Water and Foul Water drainage including attenuation facilities
- Construction of all external works including ambulance and vehicle parking
